Transit Damage, Returns & Quality Assurance Policy
Return, transit damage inspection, quality assurance, and commercial refund protocols for SRI KARNI FERTILIZERS AND CHEMICALS PVT LTD authorized dealer network.
1. 100% FCO Quality Assurance Commitment SRI KARNI FERTILIZERS AND CHEMICALS PVT LTD manufactures and distributes 100% water-soluble fertilizers conforming strictly to Fertilizer Control Order (FCO) 1985 Schedule I standards. Every batch is tested for complete water solubility, nutrient concentration, and heavy metal limits prior to packaging.
2. Transit Damage & Burst Bag Inspection Fertilizer bags are packed in heavy-duty multi-layer laminated HDPE woven sacks with inner heat-sealed LDPE liners to withstand rugged handling. However, in the rare event of transit damage: • Severe outer sack rupture or bag tear resulting in fertilizer spillage. • Water seepage or moisture contamination resulting from transit rain exposure. • Missing bags compared to the transporter Lorry Receipt (LR) dispatch tally.
3. Claim Filing Procedure (Within 48 Hours) To claim commercial credit or replacement for transit damage, the consignee must: • Document the exact number of damaged bags directly on the driver's copy and consignee's copy of the Lorry Receipt (LR). • Take clear photographs showing the damaged bags, batch code imprint, and overall shipment condition on the vehicle. • Email the photos, LR copy, and invoice reference to wholesale@srikarnifertilizers.com or contact our WhatsApp Official Desk within 48 hours of unloading.
4. Inspection & Commercial Credit Settlement • Upon submission, our logistics verification team will review the claim against weighbridge records and transporter transit reports within 48 hours. • Approved damage claims will be settled via a Commercial GST Credit Note or replacement bags added to the next scheduled dispatch. • Refunds for pre-paid bank wire or UPI transactions are processed directly to the original source bank account within 3 to 5 banking days.
5. Non-Returnable Goods Condition Under Central FCO 1985 anti-adulteration and batch traceability mandates, fertilizer bags once unloaded, signed for in sound condition, and held in dealer godowns cannot be returned for arbitrary commercial reasons. This policy protects the purity and chain of custody of agricultural nutrition products supplied to Indian farmers.
Fertilizer Control Order (FCO) 1985 Schedule IAll wholesale and retail batches comply with Central Fertilizer Quality Control & Training Institute norms.
